TadabburAI — Privacy Policy

TadabburAI ("we", "us", the "app") helps you read and reflect on the Quran. This
policy explains what data we collect, why, and your choices. Questions:

Information we collect
- Account information — when you sign in with Google (or Apple on
iOS), we receive your email address and name, and a
unique account identifier.
- Profile details you provide — a nickname and an optional
profile photo you upload.
- Your content — the reflections you write and any
community posts and comments you choose to share.
- Usage data — counts of how often you use AI features, to enforce
free limits and understand which features are useful.
- Notification token — a device push token, so we can send the
reminders you enable.
- Microphone — used only for optional voice dictation, processed by
your device's speech recognition. We do not record, store, or transmit audio.
How we use your information
- To provide the app: save and sync your reflections, show the community, and
personalise greetings.
- To operate AI features (see below).
- To send notifications you've enabled, and re-engagement reminders.
- To enforce usage limits and improve the app.
AI features
When you use an AI feature (e.g. verse finder, reflection hints, tafsir summaries,
linguistic insights), the text you submit is sent to a third-party AI provider to
generate a response. Please don't include sensitive personal information in those
prompts. Quranic text shown in the app comes from a fixed, verified database.
Service providers
We share data only with providers that help us run the app, under their terms:
- Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage (your account,
reflections, posts, profile photo).
- Google Firebase — push notifications (Android).
- Google / Apple — sign-in, and subscription billing (we never see
your card details).
- AI provider — processes the prompts you submit for AI features.
- everyayah.com — streams verse recitation audio.
We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising. Community
posts you choose to publish are visible to other users of the app.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and
data at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account), which removes your
reflections, posts, comments, and profile. You can also email
adeelszone74@gmail.com to
request deletion.
Children
TadabburAI is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not directed at children
under 13.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is
100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Changes
We may update this policy; we'll revise the "Last updated" date above.
